Following Andy Stott's golden streak of albums in the early 2010’s, Andy Stott became one of the most sought-after techno producers in the world, but last year's "Faith in Strangers" found him embracing completely different sounds. Moving away from pounding 4x4 into skittering bass music and hip-hop-inspired rhythms, he created a league of his own, while maintaining the same melancholic atmosphere and roaring low frequencies that made his music so revered in the beginning.

In the last few years Lakker have received high praise for their numerous releases on Killekill, Blueprint (one of Britain’s most influential techno labels), Love Love, Candela Rising, Stroboscopic Artefacts and most recently on acclaimed Belgian label R&S; Records with the ‘Containing a Thousand’ and ‘Mountain Divide’ EPs and forthcoming long player ‘Tundra’. Moreover, they have a distinctive visual style, reflected in their AV show, where subtle changes in the music are reflected in the patient and detailed morphing of original self-evolving visual content, each show being a unique experience.
